We are an independent publishing company. We have a vision and opinion as to the difference between a good book and a GREAT book, and our mission in founding this company is to try to provide those books to the reading public. To achieve this, we have decided to limit the categories of books we publish. Lightning Rider Press is dedicated to publishing the best in Contemporary and Women's Fiction. We also want to explore and break boundaries in the areas of Mystery and Romance Fiction.

If you are a READER of these sorts of work, please keep an eye on our titles. If you are a WRITER in any of these areas, please watch for our guidelines after we open our doors and start taking submissions.

Editor-in-Chief

MARIA PARISEAU is a native of California, and has served as editor /ghost writer for novels published in both Great Britain and the US. A graduate in English from the University of California at Berkeley, she has published short stories, novels and book reviews under a different nom de plume.

Publisher

PAM MARIN-KINGSLEY is a writer , and graphic artist/designer who lives in Bradford, MA. Her company, Electric Forest Publishing LLC, offers design, editing and publishing services in the US, and The Derwent Press offers similar services in the UK. Lightning Rider Press and DarkHart Press are two independent imprints launching a "publishing for love and profit" venture that she hopes will be successful.

Business Manager

MELLISA SHERLIN has always thought writing was magic, but also a lot of hard work. She is a wiz at multitasking and has a passionate love affair with office supplies, computers and marketing collaterals
